The Real Me

This is the real me. When we're not on the phone, or sometimes when we are, you'll find that my dog, Hallie, isn't more than six inches from my feet, and my boy, Houston, is running around trying to get my attention, working on projects with me. I recently discovered the fun of talking to AI and asking AI all kinds of questions, and learning the yo-yo. But the heart of it: I think my most important job is being dad.
Inspired by my dad
I am inspired today as an entrepreneur by the fact that my dad, in order to make ends meet as a school teacher, started a self-publishing business and put it all on the line. The best part about being an entrepreneur that I saw from growing up in my home was that my dad was around a lot more. He worked crazy hours, but whenever I needed him or had a question on something, he was there for me.
Following that tradition
The way that I run the business is to try to follow that tradition. We serve clients around the clock, trying to accommodate people's schedules, but at the end of the day, this guy, my family, is my top priority. And I want to make sure that I can make time for Houston, to make time for family, as well as the business. Because for me to look back and feel like I was successful, not only do I want a thriving business that's based on making real impact for clients and seeing our clients thrive, but I want to see my family thrive and enjoy the journey along the way.
