I was at an investment conference, and it's kind of like speed dating, where you can get exposed to a lot of different types of institutional funds that are currently in the middle of a fundraise. And these are typically funds that are anywhere from 50 million to 8 billion in terms of the size of funds that they're raising. So, pretty widespread. And it's a very, very professionally run conference, invite only, hard to get into.
Seeing how sponsors react to the market
And it's really a valuable investment of time from a couple of perspectives. One, like you mentioned, Rosemary, it's an opportunity to see what opportunistic fund sponsors are doing and how they're reacting to different risks in the market and opportunities that they're seeing.
Comparing notes with peers
But then also, it's a chance for me and others to speak with our peers and see how they're dealing with different types of risks and challenges in the markets, and sharing kind of best-of-breed ideas.
