Paul Reiferson, MBA

Paul J. Reiferson is an investor and strategic advisor with more than three decades of experience in investment management, corporate finance, and risk management. He serves on Whitwell & Co.'s Advisory Board, drawing on a career that has included founding and managing an investment firm, investment banking, entrepreneurship, and strategic advisory work.

Mr. Reiferson founded Americus Capital Advisors, an event-driven investment firm that managed approximately $200 million for institutional and private investors. Earlier in his career, he held investment banking positions at Dillon, Read & Co. and James D. Wolfensohn & Co., where he advised clients on restructurings, mergers, financings, and other strategic transactions.

Mr. Reiferson earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA with High Distinction from the University of Virginia. He is also a writer and collector of photography whose collection has been exhibited at major museums, with a forthcoming exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
