Mark W. Guthner, CFA®, Advisory Board Member at Whitwell & Co.

Mark W. Guthner is a 30-plus year veteran of the financial services industry with skills and experience stretching across trading, securities analysis, portfolio and risk management, and financial technology. He currently serves as a Professor of Financial Practice at the Rutgers Business School, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Fixed Income, Valuation, Portfolio Management, and Risk Management for Financial Institutions.

Mark authored Quantitative Methods in Debt Valuation & Management, published by McGraw-Hill, and co-authored The Options Edge, published by John Wiley and Sons.

He previously held principal and portfolio management roles at Bank of America, CRT Capital Group, and Dash Financial, as well as senior investment banking positions at the Australian New Zealand Investment Bank Group. He began his career at Prudential Fixed Income Advisors and HSBC and served as a Senior Consultant with KPMG/Barents. He holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan and volunteers with the CFA Institute.
