Erik learned financial principles early from his grandfather and father, who encouraged mutual fund and Roth IRA investing. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), where he provided financial counseling to fellow sailors on budgeting and investments.
Before joining Whitwell & Co., Erik spent three years supporting financial advisors and advanced to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He transitioned to direct client work to shield clients from poor advice and help them make informed financial decisions.
Erik is married to Crystal, has six children, and resides in Minnesota.
